Trainers can be some of the most important style accessories we will own at every stage of our life. The little people love running around in them and so do we. They don’t just feel good to wear, they look good too. What would we do without them? For me, each pair brings back memories. I always remember going shopping with my Dad and brother for my first Nike Air Max high tops when I was 12 years old. I so felt the part when I played basketball and loved wearing them at the weekends although they looked huge on me! My gold Pumas remind me of good times in New York. My navy Nike Liberty Air Max’s were found in Berlin and a ‘well done you’re having a baby’ gift from Mr H.
Always on the look out for nice designs, here are some of the trainers me and lil’ M have spotted out and about in London.
1. Nike Air Pegasus 83 Red Aloha Print bought from Office shoes. They definitely remind me of Hawaii. How can these trainers not brighten up your day?
2. Nike royal blue Md Runner as worn by my postnatal yoga teacher (and mum of 2 school children). Bold blue with some fuschia suede trims. Bought for her working wardrobe from Next online. 3. Nike Juvenate grey trainers, found at Asos.com. Futuristic but light and airy. Why does this mum love these trainers so much? Super comfortable and bought by her bro as a gift especially as he knew she suffered from a serious back condition post birth.
What are your lucky trainers? Everyone has a favourite pair. Share your comments and trainer inspiration below.
