These are the words business owner Yvonne Telford  from kemitelford.com said to me over the phone last year. I asked her for some advice and these words have really stuck with me. Why it’s good to think about intentions and not just goals

At the Lucky Things Meet Up in January 2017, we heard one of the UK’s leading mindfulness experts Dr. Tamara Russell chat about everyday tips on looking after ourselves. Tamara also talked to us about the value of setting intentions. When Tamara and I first planned our talk together, hearing her views on why intentions were helpful made sense. It completely changed my own outlook on setting goals.

The first Bristol Lucky Things Meet Up in pictures

Back in June, we had a great time hanging out at the first Lucky Things Meet Up in Bristol. Many of us travelled from across the South West as well as the rest of the country. We met at the The Square Club for an afternoon of catching up. The #luckythingsmeetup events are just for women and it’s all about bringing people together and hearing top tricks to boost our confidence. Bristol is a city I’ve grown up with as I have lots of family there.
