Hear about career confidence at the Lucky Things Meet Up in London on Saturday 1 July 2017. We will be talking about top tips on managing your career whether you’re working for a company, running your own business, running your home, driving creative projects or leading a combination of these careers. The panel features Antonia from TinkerTailor.Online and Lisa from The Wentworth Collective. The panel will be chaired by Sunita from Lucky Things blog. With over 15 years corporate HR experience helping others to grow their careers and skills, Sunita will also be sharing her career confidence know-how.
The event starts at 1pm and ends at 6pm. This event takes place at The Folly, by Monument tube.
Due to private venue hire, only 50 tickets are available so it’s likely to be another sell-out event. The ticket price includes a goody bag.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable but they are transferable should someone else like to come along. Unused tickets cannot be transferred between events.
These events are for women only (sorry, no babies or children).
More about the panel…
Antonia began her career at age 19 working for a major travel operator. She took a long term career break after the birth of her second daughter and during that time Antonia retrained as a teacher. In her last role before becoming a full time lifestyle blogger, Antonia was the manager of a pre-school for almost two years. She set up Tinker Tailor Online to pursue her dream of becoming a business owner and to create a lifestyle more in tune with the needs of her family. Tinker Tailor Online has become a place to showcase her passion for real-life style. Antonia has grown her personal blog into a dynamic and increasingly recognisable brand that speaks to real women.
Lisa James kicked off her career as an events manager. She blames her passion for events on her childhood flying around the world as her father worked for Pan Am. She is a true organiser. Lisa worked and led teams at a major global events company for 13 years supporting big corporate clients. She now runs her own events consultancy The Wentworth Collective, to “bring people together in the name of business”. Lisa is successful at organising events for organisations so people leave inspired and feel they can make a difference. She truly believes it’s experience that builds your confidence.
The Lucky Things Meet Ups are organised by Sunita from Lucky Things blog. She is also a people development and HR expert who loves organising networking events for women on confidence, career, wellbeing and style.
