Cambridge – Wednesday 22 November 2017 – Lucky Things Meet Up

The Lucky Things Locals are evening social events just for women. Lucky Things events are about getting us all together and enjoying some time out with a friendly crowd.  Come along in November to hang out and hear top tips from Sunita, Lucky Things and Finn, The Positive Planner on juggling your confidence, career, life and wellbeing.

 

When? Wednesday 22 November 2017 2017 7pm-10pm There will be plenty of time for hanging out and catching up over drinks. The talk and Q&A will last about an hour. Your ticket includes a complimentary glass of prosecco or a mocktail.

Where? This Lucky Things Meet Up is now taking place at the beautiful salon Finn Jordan, 3-4 Sussex Street, central Cambridge. CB1 1PA.  All attendees will be sent detailed directions nearer the event date. Please note there is no lift to the downstairs space where our event is being held. Please note this event is no longer taking place at Novi.

Why hear a talk on juggling career, life and your wellbeing? Why wait until January to start thinking about looking after yourself? Many of us struggle to achieve the work-life balance we’d love to enjoy. It’s also about picking up tips on how to organise your work and play so you also look after your wellbeing. The Positive Planner is the brainchild of Ali and Finn, two women on a mission to break the stigma around mental wellness. We’re excited to have Finn on the talk panel for this Cambridge Lucky Things Meet Up.

Who’s coming along? The Lucky Things Meet Ups are for women only (sorry no kids or babies). Whether you’re working for a company, running your own business, leading your household or juggling different projects, we all deserve to feel confident. Many women come along to the Lucky Things events on their own.

What to expect from the evening? The Lucky Things Meet Ups provide women with a great opportunity to invest in your confidence and your own personal development.  Take away practical advice from experts during engaging talks. There’s also lots of informal chat-working (networking!) in a friendly setting. The Lucky Things events are well-known for being down-to-earth and inclusive.

Important info about your ticket and attendee e-bulletins Lucky Things Meet Ups are ticketed events. Many events are sell-outs and a limited number of tickets are available.

All attendees receive Lucky Things e-bulletins so they’re updated with relevant event news. If you’re buying a ticket for a friend you will need to provide the event organiser with their email address for pre-event/post-event communications.

Please note tickets are non-refundable  (unless there is someone who can take your place) or non-transferable between events or dates.

More about the speakers…With over 15 years senior HR and coaching experience, Sunita has worked with a variety of clients in her corporate career to achieve the things on their confidence wish list. She recently appeared on the panel for eBay talking about style, business and confidence as well as speaking about wellbeing at the popular blogger conference Blogtacular 2017. So far Sunita appeared on national BBC Radio talking twice. She is proud to be a Finalist for the Inspire Brilliance in Blogging #BiBs2017 award. Sunita was the 2017 Runner-Up for the Mother-hood.com Top London Mummy Blogger award. Two of her favourite things (ever) are getting people together and helping others to feel confident in everyday life.
Finn is a co-owner of the beauty and hairdressing salon Finn Jourdan. She lives in Cambridge with her husband  and their baby son. Finn is a big champion of mental health and with over ten years’ experience of running her own businesses she has lots of top tips to share on the juggle work and play.
